My second day of lockdown school. By-Harley

Today I had a meeting with my class on google hangouts. After I did some writing on this creative app called Sumdog. For morning tea I had two hotdogs with tomato sauce on top. For art I drew marks on my gta map so I know where everything is. Then it was time to do some maths so I did  more of Sumdog it was really fun.Then for lunch I had yep you guess it MORE HOTDOGS!!!!  After those delicious hot dogs I did some reading I read amulet. My second day of lockdown was really fun i can't wait till tomorow!

Drama Matchbox diary by-Harley

As I try to sleep
there are people coughing, sneezing and snoring. It's disturbing. The sound that stands out the most is the clock tik tok tik tok. It's really cold. My stomach is growling telling me I'm hungry. Peoples' body odour makes my nose scrunch. I look down and I see my matchbox, my reminder of home.

Skimming rocks at the beach

My memories bring me back to the beach. There was a lot of people. Some people swimming some people playing volleyball. I could hear the seagulls singing and the ocean smashing against the sand. Woosh! Woosh! I got bored so I started skimming rocks. 

The rocks felt smooth like they had been flattened. I smelt the salty ocean and the hot dogs. They made my mouth water and I asked my mum if I could get one. I was so desperate and luckily she said yes. I took a bite and it was so nice it felt like there was a party in my brain.

Kia-ora, oku hoa My name is Harley. I am 11 years old and I speak Maori. I live in Auckland. I’m in year 8 at Saint Patricks school and my teachers name is Ms George, she's a great teacher. My favourite subject is maths, I really like algebra. My favourite thing to do  at home is play games, like Fortnite, Roblox, Call of Duty and Forza horizon 4. Sometimes in my spare time I like to go for a bike ride, or go to the pools. I bike ride around the rotary walkway. My goals are to succeed in my writing to have better handwriting and my other goal is to read more often.
